Notes from the Stead
Letters, progress, and quiet thoughts from the in-between.
This is where the story unfolds. Sometimes it’s a newsletter. Sometimes it’s a project update. Sometimes it’s a photo of a weird toad I met in the woods. “Notes from the Stead” is my way of keeping in touch and “building in public” without the algorithms or the noise. Just occasional missives from this beautifully strange project-in-progress, shared with whoever’s listening.
Why I Started Grindsboro Running
I love creating space for strategy and connection, even if most of my work happens alone, behind a screen, three states away from anyone on my team. That’s where Grindsboro started. It wasn’t a big plan. It was a quiet itch.
What Makes a Third Space?
What makes a third space? Not home, not work—something else. A place to simply be. To talk, to meet, to make, to rest. The kind of space where the world softens and community can begin. This is why I’m building Wyrdstead.
Why I'm Building This Mostly Offline
I’m building Wyrdstead mostly offline—on purpose. After years in digital marketing, I’m choosing slowness, imperfection, and face-to-face connection. This is a project rooted in real places, real people, and a longing for third spaces where community can take root. Here's why I'm trading clicks for conversation.
Hello from the Stead
Wyrdstead is a slow-built dream rooted in community, nature, and offbeat belonging. This isn’t a launch—it’s a lantern lit. Come see what’s growing.
